Terms of Service

The terms under which SchematicForge is provided: a drafting accelerator for instrumentation engineers, not an approval authority, and never a safety-certified deliverable.

Who we are

SchematicForge (schematicforge.com) is operated by SSDevProject, based in Casablanca, Morocco. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean SSDevProject, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service. These terms are the agreement between you and SSDevProject for your use of SchematicForge.

The service

SchematicForge converts an IO list into loop registers, schedules, and drawing packages for instrumentation documentation. The free tier and paid packs are described on the pricing page. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we will give reasonable notice where practical.

Payments and merchant of record

Online purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. ("Paddle"), which acts as the reseller and merchant of record for those orders. When you buy a pack or credits through the app you are transacting with Paddle; Paddle handles payment processing, billing, and tax, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the transaction. Prices shown exclude tax — the applicable tax is calculated and added by Paddle at checkout. Paddle issues the tax invoice for each purchase; a payment receipt is also available in the app.

Your data and your IP

You retain all rights in the IO lists, project data, and documents you upload or generate. We use your data only to provide the service to you. You grant us the right to process your data as necessary to operate the service, including through the sub-processors listed at /sub-processors.

The output is a drafting accelerator, not approval

Generated drawings, registers, and schedules are engineering drafting aids. They are not a SIL/IEC 61511 deliverable and are not safety-certified. Engineer review and approval remain your responsibility before any document is issued for construction or operation.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. While we test generation rigorously and it is deterministic, you are responsible for checking the output before use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of generated documents.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to access other users' data, no automated scraping, no reselling the service, and no using it to infringe third-party rights.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter into a binding contract, to create an account or buy a pack. If you use SchematicForge on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

Free tier limits

The free tier is limited to one project, 15 loops, a watermarked PDF, and no DXF export. We enforce these limits automatically and may adjust them for new accounts.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, we delete or return your data in line with the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
