Termination lists and termination diagrams from loop data

Every connection, from field device to marshalling cabinet.

Generate per-JB and per-cabinet termination lists with wire numbers, terminal pairs, and loop references — the detail commissioning actually needs.

Terminal-level detail

Each signal carries its JB, cabinet, strip, and terminal references. Export a list per junction box or per marshalling cabinet.

Auto-numbered

Terminal and wire numbers are assigned from your standards and stay consistent across every list and drawing.

Round-trippable

A returned termination list is re-importable, so field markups come back into the project instead of living in a dead PDF.

JB pair and marshalling pair

Each wired signal carries JB terminal from/to and marshalling terminal from/to. A typical 2-wire analog uses two adjacent terminals. Leave numbers blank on import and auto-assignment fills them from strip capacity and spare percent.

Spare terminals

Default spare is 10 percent of JB capacity, reserved at the end of the strip (on a 24-way, terminals 23–24). The public terminal-numbering tool uses the same arithmetic. It does not emit a manufacturing strip drawing.

Wire numbers on the list

The termination list includes the wire number stored on the signal. Today uniqueness is checked inside a loop. A project-wide from-to export is not in the download package yet.

Termination list versus termination diagram

A termination list is the tabular document: loop tag, signal, JB terminals, marshalling terminals, wire number. A termination diagram is the same connections drawn on the loop sheet. SchematicForge issues both from one dataset — the list as Excel in the package, the diagram as the annotated path on each loop drawing.

Worked pair for PT-1001 AI: JB-01 terminals 1–2, MC-01 strip S-1 terminals 11–12, wire numbers 1-11 / 1-12. That is what commissioning ticks, not a 3D cabinet view.
